What I'm Reading

I was thrilled to review Daring to Hope by Katie Davis Majors.  This is Katie's 2nd book about her experiences living in Uganda and raising 13 adopted children.  Her life wasn't just filled with the good and easy time, but there were times of struggle, heartache and tragedy.  She began to question God during those times and in the book she shares how God meet her where she was at and drew her into a deeper relationship with Him!  It's an encouraging book that prompts us to rely on God for the impossible and that He will provide us with the hope we need to walk through each and every circumstance.

I received this book for free from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.

My husband has read every book by John Eldredge, so when his new book, All Things New, came out, I was thrilled to get it for him!  His new book is about the future, the coming kingdom and the renewal of all things.  John brings us a lot of hope, especially since we live in a world of pain, suffering and horrible tragedy.  It is packed full of scripture and personal stories that John shares.  I also believe this book can change the way we view hope!
