What I Reading Wednesday

This book, Come and Eat: A Celebration of Love and Grace Around Every Table by Bri McCoy was right up my alley.  I absolutely love to use my gifts that God has given me and hospitality is right up on top!  I have said for years, that I'm a people gatherer.  I love for people to be in my home, gathered around the table.  There is something magically that happens when people come and sit around my table and we share a meal.  I certainly don't do it perfectly but I do make myself available and I think that is something the author and I can agree on.  The table and food can remind us of the importance of our fellowship with God.   Making time for God provide us with rich nourishment and wonderful memories, that we can also share with others.  Whether you have the gift of hospitality or not, everyone should read this book because you are bound to have people at your table!

Gracelaced by Ruth Chou Simons is not only filled with precious words, but the artwork Ruth created is absolutely gorgeous!  The book walks us through the different seasons we experience and hopefully will find rest and remembrance in God's faithful promises.  This book is amazing and would make a beautiful gift for any woman!

Draw 50 Sea Creatures by Lee J. Ames is a how-to, step-by-step book of how to draw sea creatures. This book is perfect for my kids as I homeschool them and we learn about different sea creatures.  It is very easy to use and perfect for my 3rd and 6th grade.
