Telluride, CO

While we were staying in Ouray, we took a day trip and went to visit Telluride. Green as green can be, Telluride was absolutely beautiful!  We drove up to Bridal Veil Falls, which I won't recommend if you are scared of heights like me!  I was literally having a panic attack, especially when my husband decided to stop and check out the view as we were going around a tight corner.  I couldn't see a thing in front of me except the sky!  However, the view was gorgeous once I got out and tried to calm my knobby knees..  I'm surprised I don't have blurry pictures from my shaky hands trying desperately hard to take a few pictures!

We were able to peek into an old mine and walk along the railroad where old mining cars would go in and out.

After our death-defying trip, we ate lunch in town at Steamies Burger Bar.  Great place and the food was amazing!
Bellies full and rested, we hopped on the free gondola and headed to the mountain village.  We got off half way and then hiked down into the village.

Lastly, we dipped our toes in the river and splashed around before heading back to Ouray.
