Camping in Ouray, CO

Ouray is absolutely beautiful and lives up to it's name "Little Switzerland!"  We stayed at the Amphitheater Campground which sits on the hillside and overlooks the small town of Ouray.  We highly recommend this campground, not only for it's beauty but it is perfect for the outdoor enthusiast!

As you drive up to the campground, there is a trail called the Baby Bathtub, where water runs through a small canyon.  There wasn't too much water and perfect for the kids to play in!

~You must make reservations in order to stay at this campground.  It's very popular in the summer!
~During the winter the campground is closed, but they use the road to snowshoe up and down it.
~We stay at site #22 and the view was stunning.

~Very short walk to the Baby Bathtub and great for kids to play on the rock and get wet.
