Fish Creek Falls, Steamboat Springs, CO

Over the next couple of weeks I will be sharing all of the adventures we had this summer!  I like having a place that documents where we've been and a place to refer people to when they ask about a specific trip.

In July, we spent 4 days camping near Steamboat Springs.  On one of those days we spent the day in the city of Steamboat Springs since our campground was about 40 minutes away.  Our first stop was a hike at Fish Creek Falls.  It's a very easy hike especially for kids to the base of the falls. We did hike up to the lookout also which is all uphill.

Creekside Cafe & Grill is by far my favorite restaurant in Steamboat.  We ate there twice because it's so good!  I even ordered the same exact thing...Huevos Rancheros.  The green chilies are to die for and my mouth is watering right now just thinking about it!

Explore Fish Creek Falls
-Parking is limited. $5 vehicle fee.
-There are lots of picnic tables, access to water, and  a bathroom.
-We hiked at mid-day and it was hot.  I would plan to get an early start next time.

Creekside Cafe & Grill
-Plan to wait about 30-60 minutes for a table.  It's a popular place and a beautiful view if you sit on the patio that overlooks the creek.
-They serve breakfast all day!
