What I'm Reading Wednesday

"God designed us for adventure because He knew following Him would be one.  It isn't wild in rebellion; it is wild in obedience.  And it isn't free to do whatever we want; it is free to do whatever He calls us to do."

The quote above was written by Jennie Allen who wrote the foreword in this book and it couldn't better describe what the book is about.  Authors, Jess Connolly & Hayley Morgan, write about the struggles women face to live wild and free in who God has designed them to be.  I could totally identify with the theme of this book, which the world tells us we're either too much or never enough.  I have felt both of those things throughout my entire life. I'm thankful for the book's message of how to not fall victim to that and instead walk wildly in who God created us to be and rest in the freedom of the work of Christ.

Every woman should read this book and I find that I want to especially share it with young women.  This would make a great high school or college graduation gift.  As a woman who has walked life a little longer, I find that I want to help women live freely in who God created them to be!

I received this book free from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion and review.
