Afternoon Art

There’s always something relaxing about art in the afternoon with my kids. I don’t spend time playing cars or Barbies with my kids, but art is the area in which I like to play! This project could be for any age.

  • watercolor paper
  • watercolors
  • ruler
  • pencil
  • paintbrush
  • small/medium circle stencil
Here’s what you do…
  • Using your circle stencil, trace 1 circle onto your paper.
  • Take your ruler and make lines coming off the circle for your sun rays.
  • Begin painting.  Start with the sun first and then paint the sun rays.
This project could also be done using markers, color pencils, crayons or tempera paint.
